While face-to-face teaching will be resumed in the new academic year 2021-22, hybrid teaching (a live class where some students attend physically and some join from home via a video-conferencing tool) may still be relevant, as some students may face travel or other restrictions that prevent them from attending classes in-person.
This workshop aims to guide you through some strategies to use a typical classroom for hybrid teaching. We will also bring to your attention that there are a few special classrooms upgraded during summer with equipment that should further facilitate hybrid teaching. We encourage you to read the “
Guide to Hybrid Classrooms” prior to the workshop and bring your questions for an interactive discussion with the facilitators and fellow teachers.
Come to join us to learn more about hybrid teaching:
- Equipment and classroom set-up
- Demonstration on various T&L activities
- Tips and tricks for engaging students
- Q&A and discussion
